Working on the data of example 1, we want to merge the first and the last name with a space in between.In openpyxl, we will use the mergecells () built-in function to merge cells. Choosing the Cell BackgroundYou are not stuck with the default theme background coming through your table. Remember: You want the data in the table, not the table border, to get theattention. You can set it to a higher number to achieve a moresolid-colored border.Click the Close button in the upper-left corner of the Colorsdialog box when you are finished.Again, feel free to customize the color in any way you like, but make surethe color you choose matches the rest of your slide colors and simply looksgood.
